VOD is easy to use.
To access the VOD menu:
- Press the Movies button in the bottom
section of your remote.
- You will then see a screen asking how you want
to search: By Category, By Name or By Keyword.
To browse through the movies, use the remote's navigation
keys.
- When you make your choice, press SELECT.
- The “Rent This Movie” screen appears.
Options are:
- renting the movie
- seeing a preview
- cancelling the transaction
- To
rent the movie, you need a Purchase PIN. This PIN
gives parents full control of the rental of movies.
- The default Purchase PIN is the last four
digits of your telephone number (unless you
have previously changed it).
- Change the Purchase PIN by pressing Menu on
the remote, choosing Account Info/Settings and
then choosing PIN Options. Before you can make
any changes, you’ll be asked for your Master
PIN (different from your Purchase PIN._ The default
Master PIN is 0000 or 1234 (unless you’ve
already changed it).

Establish guidelines about the types of movies your family
can rent through the Account Info/Settings menu.
There
are two types of rating systems:
- VCHIP ratings control regular
television content.
- MPAA ratings control VOD content.
After you set the default rating setting (G, PG, PG-13,
R, NC-17 or NR), you can override the default rating by entering
your Master PIN. The default Master PIN is 0000
or 1234 (unless you’ve already changed it).

available in all areas.
Currently
available to subscribers who receive their signal from
our central
office (generally, those who live in
or within a mile of town).
Those
who receive their signal from a node site will not be able
to use the VOD feature and will see “Contact
Your Service Provider” when they attempt to
access the VOD menu.
